Challenge
Design a two-page technical document outlining the property tax appeal process for the city of Calgary.
Overview
I was tasked with condensing the information on property tax appeal found on the city of Calgary website and ARB websites to a two-page process document. This document and all its assets were developed using Microsoft Word from a custom template.
Outcomes
The main outcome for this project was to design a document that was more user friendly than the source material. Using technical document and design principles such as, chunking, hierarchy and information blocks, I was able to create a document that was easy to follow, and should be easier on the user.
